Hi, I am Yuxin, a service designer with a firm foundation
in UX design and design research. I am particularly interested in investigating how strategic design, user
experience methodologies, and systems thinking can be integrated to create coherent and meaningful service
ecosystems.
My work explores design not only as a creative practice,
but also as a rigorous, analytical and research-driven
process that supports decision-making, enhances
stakeholder engagement, and informs long-term service
outcomes.
M Y A P P R O A C H
Applying the triple-diamond service design model, I aligned my research approaches as follows: insight gathering (research for design), iterative prototyping and knowledge generation (research through design), delivery and reflection (potential research into design across the three phases).
Integrated
thoughtfully
AI reduces blind spots
and strengthens divergence in design processes, but always be critical of the results and rely on human perception.
Enhance or
complicate?
Use it as a personal assistant that increases divergence across team members, making alignment and convergence more complex.
Increasing risks
of bias and
hallucination
Keep in mind that it always requires human oversight to mitigate creative homogeneity, sycophancy, and misalignment within teams.
Leverage in a
proper way
Across the creative process, prudently using AI to enhance speed, such as Gen-AI images, and fast prototyping of the raw framework before diving into fine-tuning.
